Adobe Connect 11.2 is a major release providing a new meeting application, enhanced audio quality, improvements to key features, and greater accessibility.

Adobe Connect 11.2 rolls out in the following phases:
Upgrades will begin on Feb 06, 2021.
On-premise deployments: Will be available from Mar 10, 2021.
What's New in Adobe Connect 11.2
New Application
The new Adobe Connect Mac application provides an all-new user interface across meetings, virtual classrooms, and seminar rooms. Users can access all features, including HD cameras and screen sharing.
Enhanced Audio
Hosts now have an option to enable Enhanced Audio for their rooms in Standard view when using Voice Over IP, Universal Voice, and Integrated Telephony which is delivered using a new modern audio codec.
Greater Accessibility - Native Closed Captioning
The Adobe Connect 11.2 allows the addition of Native Closed Caption capability to enable hearing-impaired participants to participate in online Meetings
Standard and Classic Views Segregation
To ensure a consistent experience for all room participants the room host or account administrators can choose between Standard View and Classic View. The standard view will be the default for all meetings.

Adobe Connect application
This update includes a new version of the Adobe Connect application for Mac.
You will be prompted to install and run the new Adobe Connect application in the following situations:
You attempt to log in to a meeting using a previous version of the Adobe Connect meeting application.
You attempt to share your screen from a browser.
You select “Switch to desktop application” from the meeting context menu.
The 'lightning installer' workflow, which installed the application directly from within the meeting, required the Flash Player and is not available since Adobe Connect 11.
If you are an administrator, ensure that end users have the latest Adobe Connect application. Download the latest stand-alone or MSI installers for the Adobe Connect application

Here are the prerequisites for this release:
From Adobe Connect 8.x, upgrade to Adobe Connect 9.x
From Adobe Connect 9.x, upgrade to Adobe Connect 11.2
From Adobe Connect 10.x, upgrade to Adobe Connect 11.2
