The latest version of Adobe Connect introduces a redesigned top bar, new AI-powered features, improved navigation, and expanded customization options. Everything is built to make your webinars, trainings, and meetings easier to run — and more effective for your participants.


Redesigned Room Top Bar


The most noticeable change in Adobe Connect 12.10 is the updated top bar inside the virtual room. It’s been redesigned to improve usability during live sessions and to make key controls easier to find and use.

What’s improved:

  • Faster access to microphone, camera, and speaker controls — now moved to the left side of the top bar
  • Clearer labeling on buttons for better understanding and less confusion, especially for new hosts
  • New icon set for Pods, reactions, and menus for quicker visual recognition
  • Smarter organization — session setup options are now grouped on the right under a simplified “More” menu
  • Cleaner interface with fewer distractions and less clutter

These updates make it easier to manage your session in real time, without needing to dig through menus — especially helpful when hosting live, time-sensitive events.

One-click screen sharing


Hosts, Presenters, and Participants with sharing rights can now launch screen sharing instantly from the top bar—no need to navigate to the Share Pod manually.

  • Smart Pod handling
  • Automatically selects the largest empty Share Pod in the current layout
  • Adds a new Share Pod if none are available and there’s space
  • Prompts the user if no space is available
  • If users can’t add pods (e.g., Participants or Presenters), they’re prompted to request Host assistance

This update streamlines screen sharing during live sessions, bringing the experience more in line with other video conferencing platforms—while keeping Adobe Connect’s layout control intact.

Learn Hub: In-Room Tutorials for Hosts


Adobe Connect 12.10 introduces the Learn Hub, a built-in help tool designed to support hosts directly inside the virtual room. It offers short, on-demand video tutorials that guide you through features, layouts, and best practices — without interrupting your session.

Key Features:

  • Available only to hosts and invisible to participants
  • Watch tutorials while working — videos play in a movable window so you can follow along in real time
  • Searchable transcripts help you quickly find what you need
  • Version-specific content ensures you always see the most relevant guidance for your room

Adobe Connect Help Assistant


Adobe Connect 12.10 introduces the Help Assistant, an AI-driven conversational tool designed to support hosts with instant, accurate answers while managing their sessions.

What’s improved:

  • Real-time, conversational help on Adobe Connect features, workflows, and best practices
  • Instant access to accurate information from Adobe’s Help Guide and Knowledge Base—no need to leave the room or search external documentation
  • Available exclusively for hosted accounts and only accessible by hosts, keeping session privacy intact
  • Fully respects privacy — the assistant does not access any user content or personal data, and conversations remain private

The Help Assistant empowers hosts with on-demand guidance, reducing interruptions and helping deliver smooth, confident sessions.

Enhanced Room Search


The Room Search has been updated in Connect 12.10 to include the Learn Hub videos in results. Accounts which have enabled the Help Assistant will also be able to query it from the Room Search.

With the 12.10 update, Room Search becomes even more powerful and helpful:

  • Learn Hub Integration
  • Search results now include Learn Hub tutorial videos, making it easier for hosts to discover in-context learning materials without leaving the room.
  • Help Assistant Access (If enabled)
  • For accounts with the Adobe Connect Help Assistant enabled, Room Search can now be used to query the assistant directly, providing a conversational way to get answers to product-related questions.
  • Updated Interface
  • The search UI has been refreshed with a cleaner design for improved readability and navigation.

 

The updated Room Search continues to support rapid access to controls while now also serving as a discovery tool for learning and support resources—all within the room.

New Guided Interface Tour for Hosts


Adobe Connect 12.10 adds a coachmark-based Guided Tour to quickly familiarize new hosts with key room features.

What’s improved:

  • Highlights essential elements like Rooms, Pods, Layouts, and Room Search
  • Introduces the Learn Hub for in-room tutorials
  • Automatically shown once when hosts first enter their room
  • Can be revisited anytime via the Learn Hub

Themes: Multi-Branding & Customization Profiles


With Adobe Connect 12.10, you can now create and manage multiple branding themes—perfect for organizations with different departments, brands, or session types.

Each theme can include:

  • Entry/Exit screen logos and background images
  • Room color palette
  • Top bar logo with click-through link
  • Custom virtual video backgrounds

How It Works

Admins can:

  • Create multiple branding themes
  • Set a default theme for all new rooms
  • Restrict hosts from changing themes (optional)

Hosts can:

  • Choose a theme when creating a room
  • Change it later in Connect Central or from within the room

What Happens After the Update

  • A custom theme is auto-created based on your existing branding
  • All existing rooms keep the same look and feel
  • A system default theme is always available (and can’t be edited)

Now it’s easier than ever to deliver personalized, on-brand experiences across every room—no matter who’s hosting.

New Simulated Live Webinar Format


Adobe Connect 12.10 introduces Simulated Live webinars — a new format that delivers pre-recorded content with the experience of a live event.

  • Pre-recorded content, live experience - Run webinars at a scheduled time using recorded video while engaging your audience through live chat, polls, and Q&A.
  • Scale effortlessly - Reach more people across time zones without needing presenters to be live.
  • Boost quality and consistency - Deliver polished, repeatable sessions that are perfect for marketing, lead generation, and global outreach.

New in the Chat Pod: Attendee Tagging


Adobe Connect 12.10 adds attendee tagging to the Chat Pod, making it easier to direct messages and get someone’s attention—especially in larger sessions.

What You Can Do

  • Tag people by name - Mention any attendee in the chat to direct a message to them.
  • Real-time notifications - Tagged users receive a notification so they don’t miss the message.
  • Highlighted messages - Mentions are visually highlighted, making them easy to spot.
  • Host controls - Hosts can enable or disable tagging in the room’s Chat Preferences.
  • Backstage behavior - In backstage mode, notifications are only visible to Hosts and Presenters.

Attendee tagging keeps conversations focused and makes collaboration smoother—even when sessions get busy.
